
Terms & Conditions
When you book The Lani Room, you agree to the following:
1. Bookings & Payment

A 25% non-refundable deposit secures your booking.

The remaining balance is due 7 days before your event.
-
Cancellations within 7 days are non-refundable unless we can rebook the slot.
2. Room Use

You are hiring a private, peaceful space, please use it respectfully.

The maximum group size is 12 unless agreed in advance.
-
Please return the room to its original condition after use, or opt for a £10 post-event cleaning fee.
3. Timing

Hire includes setup and pack-down time.

If you overrun, you may be charged for an additional hour.
4. Food & Drink

Light snacks and drinks are allowed.

BYOB is welcome with a £4 corkage fee per guest (see BYOB Policy).

Alcohol must be consumed responsibly.
5. Damage & Responsibility

You are responsible for any damage caused during your hire.
-
Any missing or damaged items may result in charges.
-
The Lani Room is not liable for personal belongings left unattended.
6. Access
-
The Lani Room is on the top floor and is not wheelchair accessible.
-
Clear access instructions will be shared upon booking.
7. Insurance & Liability

We are fully insured for public liability.

If you are hosting a public event or bringing external facilitators, you may be required to provide your own cover.
By confirming your booking, you agree to these terms.
BYOB Policy
Bringing your own drinks? We're totally on board, but we do have a few guidelines:

At The Lani Room, we want your event to feel relaxed and personal. If you'd like to bring your own alcohol to your event, you are very welcome, we simply ask the following:

A corkage fee of £4 per guest applies to cover drinkware, clean up and waste disposable.
​

We kindly ask that guests drink responsibly, this is a calm creative space, not a party venue.
​

No hard spirits or excessive quantities of alcohol please. (e.g.. no more than 1 bottle of wine per guest)

The hirer (that's you!) is responsible for managing guests consumption.
​

Any spillages or breakages must be reported and may incur an extra cleaning/damage fee.

We don't hold a premises license for the sale of alcohol, so please only bring alcohol for private consumption at your event.

Privacy Policy
We care about your calm, your comfort, and your data.
When you contact us, book a session, or attend an event at The Lani Room, we may collect basic personal information such as your name, email address, and contact details.
Here’s what we do (and don’t do) with that info:

We use it only to process your booking, send updates, and stay in touch with you about your event.

We’ll never sell, share, or misuse your data — promise.

Your data is stored securely via our booking email and systems.

You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
We may take photos at public events, but we’ll always ask for your consent before sharing images online.
